Participant conditions and rules
With registration to the Hungarian Ballet Grand Prix Veszprém 2023 (hereinafter event), all participants accepted the Rules and Conditions of the Hungarian Ballet Grand Prix Veszprém 2023 which is confirmed by accepting the present “Participant conditions and rules”.
The present “Participant conditions and rules” apply to the qualifying competitors (hereinafter: competitor or participant, which also includes persons (e.g. parents, legal guardians, teachers who are entitled and obliged to represent and supervise the competitor by law or other legal relation – hereinafter together: representative). The consent of the representatives for the competitor’s participation in the event shall be considered as given by the fact that the registration has been sent and the present participant conditions and rules are accepted.
It is generally expected that the competitor is accompanied by a professional mentor.
For participants under the age of 18 their representative (including any accompanying adult person) are legally responsible.
Organizer is not responsible for the information entered by the participants or their representatives in the online registration /participation system. It is the participants and their representatives’ responsibility to review the information they enter and make sure it is correct.
The organizer reserves the right to make photo and/or video recordings at any time during the whole period of the event. This includes, but is not limited to, the recordings of master classes, participants’ rehearsals or performances during the competition, or any activities in the venue lobby or backstage. By participating in the event, participants and their parents and/or legal guardians give their express permission to make any photo/video recordings at any time. Also, by participating in the event, participants and their parents or legal guardians give their express permission to use any such photo/video recordings (including those containing their name or likeness) for promotional purposes (including any uses in print, online, or in social media).
The completed and signed license agreement (available: DOWNLOAD ) is a condition for the participation in the event.
The registration fee and the entry fee cannot be reclaimed/reimburse or transfer to third person for any reason (including cases when the participant fail to attend the event for any reason).
The entry fee does not include any type of insurance. The organizer will not assume any liability for accidents, thefts, etc. occurring during the event on or off the premises of the event.
Every competitor and his/her attendant are responsible for his/her travel costs to and from the event.
By accepting the present conditions and rules, participant and his/her representative declares that they acknowledged and accepted the policy and any terms and conditions set by the accommodation Hunguest Hotels Zrt. Hotel BÁL Resort Balatonalmádi (1056 Budapest, Váci utca 38.) which are available here:
Participants and his/her representative accept that the hotel reservation (or other accommodation organized by the organizer) can be canceled or modified without penalty until 30 May 2023. Participant and his/her representative have to bear all payment obligation regarding the cancellation or modification of the accommodation (including the 100% of accommodation fee and penalty due to cancellation or modification). Participant and his/her representative shall pay all costs, penalty, other damages of the organizer incurred regarding this (including any payments advanced by the organizer).
Participants are obliged to behave and act according to the rules of the ActiCity Veszprém.
Participant acknowledges that the organizer is not obliged to accept any currency other than Hungarian Forint (HUF).
Participants are not permitted to purchase additional time. Any entry with music that exceeds the allotted time limit may result in point deduction or disqualification.
Participants acknowledged and accept the composition of the jury and they waive their right to make any objection or claim due to the composition or decision of the jury.
